Introduction - Saltcake Media Lab is Saltcake’s in-house research team, experimenting with new technologies and interactions to explore “the essential value of happy experiences.” It builds and exhibits new media technologies such as VR and AR, holograms and motion recognition, and carries the insights gained into the experience design of client projects.
Twinkle Beats is an experimental music installation based on hearing, touch and sight. Players create digital visuals and a sound track by touching various objects such as fruit, water and clay, with each texture linked to its own visual, sound and lighting effect.
Exhibited at the Saltcake booth at the 2015 Seoul Design Festival, held at COEX from December 2 to 6, 2015.
