Introduction - Founded in 1969, Samsung Electronics is a global electronics company leading markets worldwide with a broad range of products and technologies, from smartphones and tablets to TVs, home appliances and semiconductors. Leading the mobile market with the GALAXY series, it invests in digital communication that delivers a consistent brand experience to customers and employees around the world.
As tablet-based learning spread, teachers and students needed standard templates that worked across subjects. Existing digital lessons lacked consistency between subjects and were tedious to produce, making it hard to improve focus and teaching efficiency. We designed e-book lesson template GUIs ready to use in Samsung’s Authoring Tool.
Standard Templates Built on Each Subject’s Flow
Analyzing the lesson flow of different subjects, we created a standard template structure that fits any subject. Visually organizing learning goals and subject structure raised student focus and shortened the time teachers spend preparing materials.
A Modular GUI Made for Tablets
A modular GUI designed for both those who teach and those who learn delivered a consistent learning experience on the tablet screen.
