Introduction - Saltcake Media Lab is Saltcake’s in-house research team, experimenting with new technologies and interactions to explore “the essential value of happy experiences.” It builds and exhibits new media technologies such as VR and AR, holograms and motion recognition, and carries the insights gained into the experience design of client projects.
“Shake Your Body” is a dance game that analyzes players’ dancing skills. We wanted to create a room where people can blow away all their stress and worries by dancing. Players dance to the beat and catch items with their hands and feet (a Kinect camera game).
This work was shown at “Oh!”, the interactive exhibition by Saltcake Media Lab held in Hongdae, Seoul, from September 16 to 28, 2014.
