Introduction - Founded in 1944, Kia Motors is Korea’s oldest automaker, offering a wide range of models worldwide including the K Series, Sorento and Sportage. In 2012 it expanded its K Series lineup with the launch of the flagship K9 sedan, and its customer membership, Q Members, stays with owners after purchase.
In 2012, as the mobility environment changed in earnest, more customers wanted to check their manual right inside the car. Manuals offered only on PC or in print were hard to use on the move, and with smartphones and tablets spreading fast, a mobile-optimized e-manual became necessary.
From K9 to the Entire K Series
Starting with the Kia K9, we visually organized the connected-car systems and operating instructions for every K Series model. Manuals that had been separate for each model were brought into one structure, so owners find what they need the same way whichever car they drive.
A Manual Ready to Use Inside the Car
Available in mobile/tablet and PC versions, and built around an intuitive UI centered on vehicle imagery, the e-manual lets owners quickly find and use the feature they need, right where they are.
