Client Introduction: Genesis is a premium automotive brand launched by Hyundai Motor Company in 2015. Pursuing a bold, progressive and distinctly Korean luxury, it is expanding its customer experience in the global premium market with sedans, SUVs and electric vehicles, and puts equal care into making ownership, from maintenance to service, part of one brand experience.

Development of an application exclusively for Genesis owners to manage their vehicles and enjoy various benefits.

The GENESIS OWNERS app was developed as a commercial mobile application exclusively for Genesis owners, aimed at providing seamless mobile compatibility, efficient management, and enhancing brand loyalty. The app prioritizes displaying benefits based on the owner’s specific vehicle, enabling easy access to the brand’s unique features and advantages. Designed with the Genesis owner at the center, the main screen showcases personalized vehicle information, membership details, and maintenance status, allowing for convenient vehicle management. This approach makes the app a key medium for owners to experience Genesis loyalty. The design employs a sophisticated image and clean icons, embodying a luxurious concept befitting a premium brand.

Background

Automakers are spreading owners' apps as digital hubs always connected to vehicle owners. Demand grew for apps that go beyond vehicle care to manage the whole cycle of purchase, use, maintenance and repurchase, and raise loyalty through data-driven personalized services. Genesis needed a dedicated app to deliver special services exclusively for its owners efficiently on mobile.

Solution

We designed and built GENESIS OWNERS, a commercial app exclusively for Genesis owners, bringing vehicle information, service history and membership benefits together. Benefits tied to the owner's vehicle appear first so the brand's strengths and perks are easy to reach, and personal vehicle information, membership and maintenance sit on the main screen for easy car care. Weighty imagery and concise icons realize a luxurious concept worthy of a premium brand, extending its offline identity into digital.
