Introduction - Saltcake Media Lab is Saltcake’s in-house research team, experimenting with new technologies and interactions to explore “the essential value of happy experiences.” It builds and exhibits new media technologies such as VR and AR, holograms and motion recognition, and carries the insights gained into the experience design of client projects.
Dragball is a multi-touch table game inspired by Angry Birds, pinball and golf that uses real objects in gameplay. With the help of real objects designed especially for the game, players must land balls on the targets to complete the Saltcake logo. Each object helps with the mission in a different way, as a bumper, kicker or cannon.
Exhibited at the Saltcake booth at the 2015 Seoul Design Festival, held at COEX from December 2 to 6, 2015.
