Introduction - SK Energy is Korea’s leading energy company, rooted in the Korea Oil Corporation, the country’s first oil refiner, and has led a broad range of businesses including refining, petrochemicals and lubricants. With a nationwide network of service stations and overseas resource development, it covers energy from production to customer touchpoints and has become a flagship of Korea’s energy industry.
With businesses spanning refining, petrochemicals, power and overseas resource development, energy companies were often seen as complex by consumers and investors. SK Energy needed a digital platform that explained the role of each business more clearly and showed its sustainability and global operations systematically.
We rearranged business categories such as refining, LPG, power and overseas business from the user’s point of view so the flow of the business can be understood at a glance. Sustainability, social contribution and safety and environmental operations were presented clearly, with a UI tone that reinforces the trust and transparency of an energy company.
