Introduction
EBS (Korea Educational Broadcasting System) is Korea’s public broadcaster dedicated to education, providing lifelong learning programs from early childhood through elementary, middle and high school to adulthood on air and online. With college entrance exam lectures, documentaries, children’s programs and more, it creates an environment where anyone can learn.

EBS ran a wide range of educational programs, but the purpose, audience and learning outcomes of each were scattered, making it hard for learners and teachers to understand them at a glance. As educational content grew, EBS also needed to organize its programs and unify its brand tone. Saltcake created the EBS Program Guide Book to help people choose the right program.

EBS Program Guide Book “共感 (Empathy)”

Purpose, Audience and Learning Flow at a Glance

We reorganized the content so each program’s purpose, audience and learning flow can be grasped immediately, and layered information by age group, curriculum and content type. Complex educational information was translated into infographic-led layouts that anyone can read easily.

A Guidebook That Opens with Empathy

With “共感 (Empathy)” as its cover message, the guidebook unified its visual language and graphics through an integrated visual guide reflecting the brand tone. An editorial system that can absorb new programs as they are added makes it a guide that works both in classrooms and in sales.
