Introduction
KT is Korea’s leading telecom company, launched in 1981 as the Korea Telecommunication Authority and providing a wide range of services including wired and wireless communications, internet and IPTV. Under its olleh brand, it introduced new mobile services for the smartphone era, creating experiences that connect customers’ daily lives with communication.

With its shift to the olleh brand, KT needed a UI/UX framework that delivered a consistent experience across services from mobile and IPTV to membership, media and customer service. Web and mobile services had been run department by department, so screen layouts, navigation and design tone differed.

We defined a UI component system for common service elements and derived shared patterns from an analysis of existing screens. A color, typography, icon and layout guide reflecting olleh’s tone and manner created a scalable design system, and UI/UX principles connected the experience across customer service, content malls and portals.

Key Features

• An integrated olleh 2.0 design system

• Shared UI components and patterns across services

• A visual system reflecting the brand’s tone and manner

• UX principles spanning all service groups
